Slide and Negative Digitizing ...

Digital Wonders' digitizing service handles negatives or slides in all sizes ranging from 35mm to large format.  We will scan them using high quality, high resolution Nikon and Epson professional scanning equipment. We can provide you with digitized files in any resolution up to 4000 DPI, with most scans utilizing one of the following three "standard" resolutions:

(1) 1200 DPI, which is primarily for viewing on your computer screen, use on a web site, or 4X6 prints.

(2) 2400 DPI, used for making small to moderate-sized prints (approximately 5 X 7 up to 11 X 14)

(3) 4000 DPI, used for making larger prints (11 X 14 up to 16 X 20).

Just send us your 35mm negatives or slides, and we will do the rest, at a very competitive price.  If you live in NE Indiana, we may be able to make arrangements to meet you and pick up your slides, to avoid having to ship them.  Please contact us for details.

6 X 6 films are 15% higher than the 6 X 4.5 shown above.  Scanning other sizes of film/negatives is also available.  Please request a quote.

Please note that if your slides are in individual sleeves which require additional handling, or if you require the final image files to be uniquely named to match your slides, then there will be an additional service change.  Please contact us for a quote.

Shipping charges will be determined when you order is ready to ship back, and will be billed separately.

Putting the files on a CD or DVD is included in the price, for orders over $25.  If your order is less than $25, or if you want your files on multiple CD's instead of a single DVD, or if you want multiple copies of each disk, the charge for disks are as follows:

CD-ROM (holds 700 MB) - $2.00
DVD+R (holds 4.6 GB) - $5.00

Special Note:   When we scan your slides, we used dry, compressed air to blow any dirt or foreign material from both sides of each slide immediately prior to scanning, and the scanning equipment we use is specifically designed to be anti-static so as to not attract any dust.  However, if there is dust or foreign material on your slide that does not dislodge with the compressed air blow-off, it will likely show up in your digital image file.   Although the use of a very fine artists brush may remove additional dust or foreign material, Digital Wonders Photography does not use this technique, since in some cases the use of a brush could cause scratches or other damage to your slide.

Please package your originals very carefully to avoid damage during shipment, and we will take the same level of care in the return shipment.  If you live in NE Indiana, contact us to see if arrangements can be made for pickup and delivery.
